Concepción is the second largest city in Chile and the capital of the Biobío region.
It is located on the banks of the Biobío River and is known for its history, its colonial architecture and its nightlife. The city is an important economic, commercial and university center of Chile, with a large number of parks, squares, museums and cultural centers.
