Laja is a small city located in the Biobío region, in Chile.
It is located in the valley of the Laja River, about 90 kilometers east of Concepción. The city is known for its beautiful natural landscape, including the Laja River, Salto del Laja and the beautiful national park.
In addition, it has a rich architectural and cultural heritage, highlighting the church of San Ambrosio and the Laja museum. It is also an important agricultural and commercial center of the region.
