Los Angeles is a city located in the Biobío region, in southern Chile.
It is located approximately 500 km south of the capital, Santiago, and is the capital of the Biobío province.
The city is located in a valley surrounded by mountains and close to several rivers, including the Laja River.
It is located in a strategic area since it connects important routes to the coast and the Andes mountain range.
