Puerto Guadal is a small town located in the Aysén region, in southern Chile, on the shores of General Carrera Lake.
It is known for its impressive mountainous landscape and its natural environment, ideal for outdoor activities such as trekking, kayaking, fishing and more. One of its main attractions is the imposing Exploradores Glacier, located about 40 kilometers south of town.
You can also visit the marble chapels, a set of rock formations in General Carrera Lake, which are a true natural wonder.
To get to Puerto Guadal you can take a flight to the city of Balmaceda, and from there drive for approximately 4 hours.
It is also possible to arrive by bus from the city of Coyhaique, which is about 4 hours away.
Puerto Guadal is located in the Aysén region, about 1,200 kilometers south of Santiago.
