Puerto Natales is a city located in the Magallanes and Chilean Antarctic Region, in southern Chile.
It is located on the shores of Seno Última Esperanza, on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, surrounded by mountains and glaciers. It is located about 247 km northwest of the city of Punta Arenas, the regional capital, and about 315 km south of El Calafate, in Argentina.
The city is the gateway to the Torres del Paine National Park and the rest of the tourist attractions in the area.
