Rancagua is a city located in the central region of Chile, about 87 kilometers south of Santiago.
It is located in the Central Valley, surrounded by mountains and hills. The city is located at an altitude of 573 meters above sea level and is close to important transportation routes, such as the Pan-American highway and Ruta 5 Sur.
The city is the capital of the O'Higgins region and is the economic and cultural center of the area.
