Santiago is the capital of Chile and has an international airport, the Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport, located about 15 km northwest of the city center.
From there, you can get to the center of Santiago by taxi, transfer or bus, the latter being the cheapest option.
It is also possible to arrive by bus from various cities in Chile and neighboring countries, or by train from some nearby cities.
Santiago also has an extensive public transport network consisting of buses, metro and taxis.
