Viña del Mar is a coastal city located in the Valparaíso Region of Chile, about 120 kilometers west of the capital, Santiago.
It is located on a narrow strip of land between the Pacific Ocean and the hills that surround the city.
The city is located about 9 kilometers north of the city of Valparaíso and about 8 kilometers south of the city of Concón.
The Pan-American highway, Ruta 5, runs through the city, making it easily accessible from other parts of the country.
