To get to Iquique from other parts of Chile, you can take a plane from Santiago or other major cities in the country to Diego Aracena International Airport.
It is also possible to arrive by bus from different cities in Chile, although the journeys are long due to the distance.
Another option is to arrive by car through Ruta 5 Norte, the main road in Chile that connects Iquique with the rest of the country.
The drive from Santiago takes approximately 20 hours and it is recommended to plan the trip well as there are long stretches of road without service stations.
