Mocha Island is a small island located off the coast of the Biobío Region in Chile, and is part of the Tirúa commune.
The island is known for its natural beauty, with virgin beaches, coigüe forests and the rich Mapuche culture present in its territory.
In addition, the island is an important site for bird and whale watching.
It has a population of around 900 people and is only accessible by boat or small plane from the city of Concepción or Lebu.
