Lago Ranco is a town located in the Los Ríos region, in southern Chile.
It is known for its beautiful lake, which is the third largest lake in the country and features a variety of water activities including swimming, fishing, and boating.
In addition, it has several sandy beaches and a marina.
Tourists can enjoy a hike in the Valdivian humid forest of Parque Futangue, located about 30 km away, or visit the Huilo Huilo Biological Reserve, a nearby nature reserve.
To get to Lago Ranco, you can take a bus from Valdivia, which is about 100 km away, or by car, taking Route 5 south and taking the exit for Lago Ranco.
