Marchihue is a commune and small town located in the province of Cardenal Caro, in the region of O'Higgins, Chile.
Surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes, vineyards and native forests, it is a perfect place for rural and nature tourism.
Among its attractions are the Los Queules National Reserve, a protected area where you can enjoy the native flora and fauna, and the Wine Route, where you can visit local wineries and taste the famous wines of the region.
In addition, it has beautiful beaches, such as La Boca de Rapel, and historical sites, such as the church of San Francisco de Asís.
To get to Marchihue you can take Route 90 from Santiago, which connects with Route 5 South in San Fernando. It can also be reached from the coast by Route F-90.
The commune is located about 200 kilometers from Santiago de Chile, and has public and private transport services.
