Queilén is a city and commune in the Chiloé province, located on the east coast of the large island of Chiloé, in southern Chile.
It is located about 1,100 km south of Santiago and about 60 km south of the city of Castro. Queilén is located in a coastal area with beautiful beaches and a large number of islets and bays.
In addition, the commune is surrounded by native forests and has a rainy and temperate climate throughout the year.
