To get to Vicuña from Santiago, the capital of Chile, you can take a flight to La Florida airport in La Serena, and then take a bus or taxi to Vicuña, which is about 60 km to the east.
It is also possible to arrive by bus from Santiago or from other nearby cities such as La Serena or Coquimbo.
Another option is to drive along Ruta 5 Norte to La Serena and from there take Ruta 41 towards Vicuña. The journey by car takes approximately 6 hours from Santiago.
