Vicuña is a commune and city located in the Coquimbo region, in northern Chile.
It is located 60 kilometers east of the city of La Serena and about 500 kilometers north of Santiago.
It is located in the Elqui river valley, surrounded by hills and vineyards, and is characterized by its dry and sunny climate for much of the year.
In addition, it is located at a strategic point to access nearby tourist destinations such as the Mamalluca Observatory and the Elqui Valley.
